Leslie Surowiec from Greenwood School in Jacksonville, FL. This is my third LegoLeague program at my third school in the past 5 years. I started with tiny K-2, had my first 4-5 grade team the next year. We went to qualifiers and got a rookie team and innovation awards. Now I am working on the Middle/high school level using the class packs. I hope to take them to the competition this year.

Building/designing is my strong suit along with teaching core values. Programming is where I struggle. Trying to teach an old dog new tricks!

Hi! I am Beth Huston from Positive Supports Academy in Indianapolis, IN. We are an Alternative Program for 7th-12th in Indianapolis Public Schools. I have been teaching 18 years but have only taught Robotics for the last two years. I am new to FIRST and am looking forward to working with all of you. I don't have any resources that I can think of at the moment nor do I have any questions for the moment. I am sure I will have plenty of questions, once we get started.

Hi, I'm Graham Scott from Newport High School in Newport, NH. I just finished my second year teaching, and it was an interesting couple of years, to be sure. This will be my first experience with FIRST. Our school had a team in the past, but that was six years and three teachers ago, so I'm essentially starting it all over from scratch.

I have the EDU V2 pack, with at least a touch sensor and a color sensor (from skimming the manifest). I have a control hub and one phone. It's a little up in the air how much I'll be using this stuff for teaching, but I am certainly am attempting to get a competitive team running this year.

Hi all,

I teach at Fulton Middle School in Fountain Valley, CA. This will be my first year coaching FTC with a colleague at my school. I can bring organizational skills to this community. This is an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to learning from you.

Hi!! I am Rhonda Hildebrand from Oregon, Ohio (yes--Oregon is a city in Ohio and pronounced Oregone -- lol) I am beginning the journey with FTC class pack curriculum as a class with my students. They will be mainly 9th and 10th graders. We have fielded a FTC team in the past but with funding not secured don't know if we will try and compete at competitions this year with the after school program. I am the programming and software development instructor.

Hello, I'm Julie Fisette and while I was the teacher mentor for 10 years for the FRC team the Robostangs #548, I have now found myself in a different school district back in the classroom and having to teach Robotics courses. For me the challenge will be learning a curriculum and implementing the ability to get the students up and running before they actually have to start building their robots.
